1 - Terms
All terms are per week and for the Holiday Homes as equipped and described. The usual time of takeover is 2.00pm (subject to unavoidable delays). You are expected to leave everything in a clean and tidy condition.
2 - Booking Deposit
When you book, the initial deposit of £75 for each week must be sent with your Booking Form.
3 - Balance Of Hire Money
The balance is due 28 days before the start of your holiday.
4 - Booking/Change/Cancellation
If you need to cancel your holiday and it is more than 2 weeks before your holiday starts, KHH will rearrange your holiday (subject to availability) anytime in the next 6 months, only asking that you top up the price if the new date has a higher weekly hire rate. There is no charge for this service. If other circumstances exist which compel you to cancel your holiday then you must notify us immediately by telephone. We must also receive confirmation in writing. We will endeavour to re-let for you. If we are successful in re-letting, you will only forfeit your deposit. If we are unable to re-let you will be responsible for the prompt payment of the full balance of hire due on the holiday home booked.
5 - Avialability
The booking is made on the understanding that the Holiday Home will be placed at your disposal on the date stated. Should this not be possible through circumstances out of our control e.g. fire, theft, or damage, we cannot guarantee to provide an alternative Holiday Home, in which case the booking deposit will be returned to you in full, but you will have no claim against the owner.
6 - Pets
You may bring your cat or dog with you to your Holiday Home. You must tell us that you are bringing your pet when you make your booking. You will need to bring your pets eating dishes and basket with you as pets are not allowed on the bedding or chairs. Dogs must be kept under control and not use the grassed area around the properties as a toilet or cause a nuisance to the other residents.
7 - Use
To meet local planning requirements affecting the use of holiday property, the Hirer confirms that the property is being hired as a temporary holiday home (not an assured tenancy under the Housing Act 1988 nor with the right of occupation of a dwelling house and is excluded from the provisions of the Protection from Evection Act 1977)
8 - Maps
Presentation in our leaflet and forms are for general guidance only, they are not drawn to scale.
9 - Hirers Responsibility
The Hirer is responsible for the Holiday Home and its contents during the stay and is expected to take all reasonable care of it. The Hirer undertakes to report and pay for any damage caused to the Holiday Home or for equipment lost, damaged, broken or stolen during their occupancy of the Holiday Home. All equipment and utensils must be left in a clean condition at the end of the hire period.
10 - Enviroment
The Holiday Home Owner does not accept liability for any nuisances caused by the local environment, such as insects, but will assist in any reasonable preventative measures.
11 - Hirers Property
KHH does not accept any liability for loss of, or damage to, personal effects, baggage, motor car, or any other items belonging to the hirer or members of the hirers party.
12 - Guest Provisions
